God's been teaching me a lot about joy over the weekend thanks to a hard situation and an awesome friend. ;) So, I thought I'd share some verses about joy that have been very encouraging to me.
John 16:24
Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
Psalm 51:12
Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
Proverbs 12:20
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan peace have joy.
Isaiah 25:10b
...they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
John 15:11
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing those verses! My favorite verse of all time is Phil. 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say: Rejoice!" It is a great reminder to me that my joy should come from the Lord not my circumstances.

I love Philippians 4:4! I always have a hard time staying joyful when my circumstances aren't the best. Great verse. :)
