Corruption of Society

Being homosexual is not just a choice, it's a sin. Recently there was an openly gay 14-year-old boy who defended one of his teachers at a board meeting for standing up for him, and the boy said “We should not be judged by who we love, but by our character.” Character is defined as moral or ethical strength. First of all, being homosexual is not having good morals because it goes against what is right. God designed a man to love a woman, and a woman to love a man. Second, it is completely non-ethical. If everyone were homosexual then there would be no more babies born, and our race would fade from existence.

There are many Christians who think homosexuality is not pleasing to God, but what do they do to fight against it? Almost every day we see something on the news or internet about a celebrity who has finally “come out” and announced they are homosexual, and people are actually praising them for this! What do you do when you see that? Do you just sit there and watch it?

We should not only detest this homosexual behavior, but take action against it. We should fight this corruption of our society. There are ways to fight this with words and with actions. When someone you are with makes a joke about homosexuality you could politely say that God does not take homosexuality lightly and you don't either. It says in 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10 “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. “ Also, there are politicians who are willing to fight pro-homosexuality laws, and we can support and vote for them. So, will you be a sitter or a fighter?
